Kind Words from Clients

DAISY L.

"Working with Audrey has been transformative for us! She is so knowledgeable and clear-headed about how to ensure my Mom feels cared for and supported in all aspects of her life. Audrey is a powerful advocate in the many systems we’ve been learning how to navigate. And she’s unfailingly cheerful with her help- always has an open mind and heart, and really listens to us both! All this has given both my mom and me more confidence and optimism for this chapter of Mom’s life."

JEN T.

"My friend couldn't say thank you enough for the help.  You have not only a business, but a ministry."

RYAN E.

"Audrey expertly helped me manage the overwhelming and stressful details of my mom's complex 24-hour care, even as I was living 2500 miles away. She kept the team organized and motivated, attended every medical appointment and oversaw dozens of medications, provided resources and referrals for senior services, and was a true telephone warrior whenever a tenacious patient advocate was needed. She did it all with care, compassion, and an cheerful presence. As an only child with a disabled, home-bound parent, I could never have managed without Audrey's help. She had a deep and positive impact on our lives."

AGING CARE FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

You've got questions. We're here to help.

What does a patient advocate do?

We help you navigate complex systems so you don’t have to do it alone. We clarify medical information, assist with insurance or billing issues, and ensure your needs and wishes are heard by healthcare providers. Whether you're facing a new diagnosis, managing a chronic condition, or caring for a loved one, a patient advocate is your knowledgeable partner and support system.

Who can benefit from a patient advocate?

Anyone dealing with complex medical conditions, chronic illness, hospitalizations, or elder care can benefit—especially those who feel overwhelmed, unheard, or unsure of their options.

Does health insurance cover your services?

No; at this time, most health insurance plans do not cover private patient advocacy services. Our support is paid directly by clients, which allows us to work solely in your best interest—without restrictions from insurance companies, hospital systems, or corporations.

We’re happy to provide invoices or documentation if you’d like to pursue reimbursement through a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), when applicable.

We also offer affordable digital resources to make our support and education widely available.

Are your services confidential?

Absolutely. We maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and your personal privacy preferences.

Do you work with specific conditions or all patients?

We support and have special expertise in aging care, autoimmune, and chronic conditions.

Do you provide medical advice?

No, I do not provide medical advice or make medical decisions on your behalf. My role as a health advocate is to help you understand your options, clarify complex information, and ensure you feel informed and empowered. I support you in making autonomous decisions that align with your personal values, goals, and preferences.

What is your service area?

I have virtual clients nationwide in the U.S., and I can be in-person with you in Raleigh, NC.
